Mysuru, March 2:- Members of tender-based employees association of government hospitals and medical colleges warned of stern protest, saying the hospitals have not implemented the new minimum wage policy introduced by the state government.
“Though the tender-based employees work with no job security, the medical college is following dual policy. They have implemented minimum wage policy at Cheluvamba Hospital and PK Sanitarium, but have neglected the employees of K R Hospital,” said convener of the organisation, Babu at a press meet here on Thursday.
“Even after 2 months of the order, the health department has not implemented the rule in taluk hospitals and primary healthcare centres,” he said. They warned of intense protest if the district administration fails to take action.
