KRV protests lack of facilities at Hunsur hospital

Members of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike staged a protest against the lack of facilities for patients and at D Devaraja Urs Public Hospital in Hunsur.

Speaking at the occasion Vedike President Purushottham said that authorities concerned have been failing to improve the infrastructure facilities such as toilet and drinking water to the patients. The quality of service/treatment is not up to the mark.

According to them, the poor facilities in the hospital had affected the patients in the region.

They threatened to intensify their protest if the State Government did not initiate measures to improve healthcare facilities in the hospital.

Later, District Health Officer Basavaraju , visited the hospital and was upset over the conditions at the hospital. He took the officials and management to task and assured to look into the problems in the hospital at the earliest.

Members of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike Munnavar Pasha, Balaramu, Girish, Auto Naganna, Mahadevamma, Jayamma and others participated in the protest.
