The Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) has postponed examinations of certain courses to August 8, in view of the KSRTC strike.
The examinations, which had originally been scheduled for Monday, had been postponed to Wednesday and now with no end to the strike, it has been again rescheduled.
It is learnt that students from across the State will write the examinations at various centres, including Mysuru. As it is difficult for the students to reach the centres in the absence of proper public transportation, students had requested the authority to put off the examinations. Thus decision was taken to postpone exams in M.Sc. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Psychology, Master in Tourism Management, MBA and LLM.
