KSRTC creates awareness on coronavirus through tickets

Mysuru, May 21:- Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has been playing a key role in creating awareness among people regarding elections and other relevant issues. Now, the KSRTC has started creating awareness among the public on the deadly Covid-19.

KSRTC is issuing printed tickets with a message on maintaining cleanliness and social distancing to contain the spread of coronavirus.

KSRTC buses started plying in the state from Tuesday and the commuters are making use of the bus service.

A small number of people came to Mysuru KSRTC Mofussil Bus Station on Wednesday to go to their respective native places. They were allowed to enter the bus after thermal screening. The administration is not allowing people who wear cloth and handkerchiefs instead of face masks. Public were seen purchasing face masks from vendors selling masks outside the bus terminal.

Mysuru is slowly returning to its normal life. After a long hiatus, people were seen hiring autorickshaws to go to their destinations from the bus station. (HN, NGB)
