We purchased Nandini’s Real Thick Curd (400g) on July 23 from Reliance Fresh, Kalidasa Road. We found that the content was liquidy and sour, We phoned up Nandini’s commercial Manager at Mysore Dairy only to be told that this curd is not manufactured by them but by Mangalore Unit and he was kind enough to give the mobile number of Commercial Manager, Mangalore Dairy. There Rajashekhar Murthy apologised for the wrong information provided to us, and having told that this particular item is manufactured at Mother Dairy, Bengaluru, assured us that defective pack will be replaced and that he will talk to the concerned at Bengaluru. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a call from Bengaluru with an apology and assurance that the defective pack will be replaced without any hassle. Yesterday, we received a call from Reliance Fresh that we can pick up our replacement !! Further, to our surprise Reliance Fresh told us that we could have straight away brought back the defective pack and they themselves would have replaced it without any reservation whatsoever!! This is a very commendable service to the customer from Nandini, our favorite brand. Kudos to Nandini. However, it would be in the interest of Nandini if it prints the telephone /mobile number on each pack to which a customer can make a call to lodge a complaint. Such a step will instill greater loyalty among the Nandini customers. Also, compliments to Reliance Fresh, Kalidasa Road for their customer oriented attitude.
