Mysuru, November 20:- Mysuru-Kodagu Member of Parliament Pratap Simha on Monday took a jibe at Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy for his remarks against the farmers in the state.
“Kumarswamy assumes power in the name of farmers, but doesn’t have courtesy to respond to their problems. The Chief Minister should work to provide scientific price to the crops and speaking irresponsibly in public life is unbecoming of a chief minister,” Simha said while speaking to media persons in the city.
“The central government has released huge funds for the development of Mysuru. Modi government has given funds to construct flyover to avoid traffic problems. It has provided funds to acquire land for rail lane to Kodagu District. I have developed all the taluks during my term. Hinkal junction will be named after former prime minister late Atal Bihari Vajapayee,” he added.
He requested the Mysuru leaders to name the Passport Seva Kendra after Union minister late H N Ananth Kumar who had helped to start the kendra in the city. (KS, NGB)
