Kumaraswamy applies for bail in Jantakal case

Prime News, Bengaluru, May 17:- Former chief minister and JD(S) state president H D Kumaraswamy has filed an anticipatory bail application in the illegal mining case.

Following the arrest of IAS officer Gangaram Baderiya on Monday, Kumaraswamy filed the application before the Lokayukta Special Court seeking interim anticipatory bail. The court has posted the matter for orders to Wednesday.

Speaking to reporters at Yadgir Kumaraswamy said that he has not done anything wrong in the renewal of Jantakal Enterprises lease and ore transport case.
