Hubballi, November 19:- Former prime minister and Janata Dal (Secular) supremo H D Deve Gowda on Sunday said he was confident that Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy will complete his five-year term without hiccups.
In the backdrop of growing dissidence in the Congress camp, Deve Gowda said, “Former chief minister Siddaramaiah and I will ensure state government’s stability in the next five years.”
Speaking to reporters in Hubballi, Deve Gowda hinted that the cabinet expansion will happen by month-end.
“Congress president Rahul Gandhi has promised that HDK government will run the show without any problems in the next five years. There is no question of change in leadership.” On disgruntled senior Congress leaders, Deve Gowda said they have every right to express their feelings as they have served their party for decades.
“Siddaramaiah will help me in solving the crisis faced by Kumaraswamy government in the days to come,” Deve Gowda said. (MR)
