Labourers stage protest, demand amenities

Mysuru, May 29:- The labourers of Multilink factory (manufacturers of spare parts of two wheelers) at Hebbal, here, staged a protest on Monday, demanding basic amenities among other things.

“The factory is functioning since 14 years. They have made profit worth crores but have not provided amenities to the employees,” alleged the workers.

“The employees staging protest in front of the DC office in the city, said that hundreds of employees were suspended from job on April 10. The employees were made to work without proper wages. The problem should be resolved at the earliest in the interest of the workers,” the protesters said.

Kumar, Chandrasekhar, Lokesh, Avinash, Naveen and others were present.
