Mysuru, August 4:- Journalist Snehamayi Krishna has filed a police complaint against Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) chairman D Dhruvakumar, the MUDA members and MLA M K Somashekar of cheating in the distribution of sites at Lalithadrinagar in the city.

Krishna in a press release, has alleged that MUDA chairman Dhruvakumar, MUDA commissioner Dr M Mahesh, MUDA secretary Savitha, MLAs M K Somashekar, G T Devegowda, P Vasu, Minister Tanveer Sait, Srikantegowda, MLC Sandesh Nagaraj, former Mayor Sandesh Swamy and others have been involved in the site distribution scam and urged the government to order a probe to bring the truth out.

“According to MUDA rules, the sites should be distributed based on seniority of the applicant. Many senior citizens who were expecting site allocation after a long wait have been disappointed with the cheating. Huge amounts have been collected in the sale of applications for MUDA sites. It is a clear violation of law and those involved in the scam should be punished,” he added.
