Mysuru, February 1:- The Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) on Thursday announced the final cut off list for allotment of sites at Lalithadrinagara (north).
MUDA which had given 15 days time period for the site applicants to file their objections to the first list announced by them announced the final list of allottees for the 530 sites to be distributed in Lalithadrinagara (north).
MUDA which has developed the Lalithadrinagara in a total area of 145 acres, comprises 820 sites with around 530 sites of various dimensions (6*9mt, 9*12mt, 12*18mt, 15*24 metres) for distribution.
The MUDA received a total of 55, 065 applications from people in which the authority collected Rs 117.42 crore as the Earnest Minimum Deposit (EMD) from 33,024 site applicants.
The first list of allottees was announced on January 6 this year and had given a time of 15 days to file any objection. A total of 824 objections were filed by the applicants in which a total of 720 objections were rejected from the list.
Cost of sites fixed
The MUDA has fixed the price for the sites that are distributed to the allotees at Lalithadrinagar (north) in the city.
For a 6*9mt site the cost is Rs 1,70,000, while a 9*12 mt, 12*18 mt and 15*24 mt sites the cost is fixed at Rs 5,26,000, Rs 14,21,000 and Rs 27,00,000 respectively.
MUDA chairman D Dhruvakumar, MUDA Commissioner Kantharaj, nominated members of MUDA and others were present during the announcement of the final list. –(KK)
