Prime News, National, International, Defence, Terrorism, New Delhi, August 12:- While security agencies have been put on high alert ahead of Independence Day, new intel inputs have revealed that Pakistan-based terror outfits have made elaborate plans to target security establishments, forward posts and have been pushing arms and ammunition into the country.
Multiple intelligence inputs shared with law enforcement agencies have said that terror organisations, including Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed are planning major terror strikes around Independence Day on August 15.
Security agencies from Kashmir to Delhi have been put on high alert over the past weeks in anticipation of terror threats. Intelligence inputs have said attempts can be made to push in terrorists loaded with arms and ammunition into the Indian territory.
Key establishments, security installations, forward posts and defence forces are on the target, said sources that have also warned that sophisticated IEDs may be used for the attacks. (MR, Inputs: Agencies)
