Legislative Council polls: Congress meeting held in Mysuru

Prime News, Karnataka, Elections, Politics, Mysuru, May 24:- The election to the Karnataka Legislative Council seat from South Graduates’ Constituency is scheduled to be held on June 13 and all the parties are seeking votes on behalf of their candidates. 

Senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah chaired a meeting of party leaders on Tuesday (May 24) at a private hotel in the city. Congress candidate Madhu G Madegowda is contesting the elections. 
Siddaramaiah will campaign on behalf of Madhu seeking votes in Mysuru on Wednesday (May 25) and Madhu is likely to file his nomination papers on the same day, sources said. (AM/KS)
