Leopard threat leaves Bannur worried

Mysuru, June 15:- The leopard threat in Bannur town in Mysuru district is increasing day by day. Two leopards were spotted recently and the killing of a dog has become a cause of worry.

Visual of a leopard carrying a dog was captured on CCTV camera of Rathna Mahal Theatre of Bannur town.

Many farmers had seen the leopards near their farms and were frightened. Bannur Police have asked the public to be careful.

The police have brought the issue to the notice of the officials of the Forest Department. They made an announcement advising the people not to venture out of their homes.

People who have watched the CCTV footage which has gone viral are even scared to step out of their homes. Officials of the Forest Department have initiated steps to nab the big cats. (MR/KS)
