Lesser mortals can’t do what Dr Ambedkar has done: Minister

Mysuru, May 27:- “If the labour class boasts lot of programmes, it should thank the architect of the Indian constitution, Dr B R Ambedkar.  No other country in the world has ever done this,” opined District In-charge Minister Dr H C Mahadevappa at Labours’ Day organised at the Mysuru Paints and Varnish Company on Saturday.

“Owners and labours should work hand in hand. The profits made by an organisation should be given for education, social and economic development of the labours and their children. Labours should be united to get their share of benefits. It should bet equal wage for same  work. The Mysuru Paints is doing well. It has earned a good name in India and elsewhere,” he said.

President of Mysuru Paints, H A Venkatesh, Police Commissioner  Dr A Subrahmanyeshwara Rao, K M Chandregowda, vice president of J K Tyres, Umesh K Shenoy and others were present. (MR/BM).
