Mysuru, July 23:- Karnataka Rajya Pragathipara Chinthakara Vedike on Monday urged the state government not to handover Gauri Lankesh murder case to CBI under any circumstances.
“SIT is investigating the case properly. CBI is trying to take over the case, saying the murder is linked to Pansare murder int Maharashtra. As CBI is a puppet in the hands of the central government, it will give a report that suits the Centre,” said progressive thinker Puttasiddashetty at a press meet at Mysuru press club. He urged chief minister H D Kumaraswamy to implement superstition prohibition bill soon.
Puttasiddashetty alleged that the central government is in favour of the corporates. He said that the increase in fuel prices has affected the lives of the common man badly. He said that a signature campaign would be held against fuel price hike.
When his attention was turned towards students’ issues, Puttasiddashetty urged Kumaraswamy to provide free bus passes all the students.
