Mysuru, April 27:- “I call upon everyone, including me, to follow the ideologies of Basavanna,” said District in-charge Minister S T Somashekar.
He was speaking after garlanding the statue of Basavanna at JSS Vidyapeetha Circle to mark the birth anniversary of Basaveshwara here on Sunday.
“I had requested Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa to appoint an officer to investigate the root cause of coronavirus at Jubilant Generics factory in Nanjangud. Chief minister has instructed the special officer Harsh Gupta to investigate and submit a report. The report will come soon,” he said.
“Coronavirus cases have reduced now. The situation is coming under control due to the strict measures taken by the government. It will be completely under control in the coming days,” he added.
“MG Road market has been shifted as social distancing was not maintained there. It will come back to normal once the situation improves. We require public cooperation as well for this,” he added.
Mysuru-Kodagu Member of Parliament Pratap Simha, former minister AH Vishwanath, MLAs SA Ramadass, L Nagendra and others were present. (MR/KS)
