Mysuru, December 6:- “Karnataka Janapara Andolana has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi asking him to take a responsible decision on Ram Mandir issue as Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has asked the government to take an early decision. It may end up in communal problems,” said the president of the organisation Prof K S Bhagawan at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club on Thursday.
“Many people have threatened to demolish mosques if Ram Mandir is not built. They have also held Congress responsible for the ongoing dispute surrounding the temple. All these incidents have left the people of the country worried. We doubt if the government is functioning at all. People have not brought the government to power to construct Ram Mandir, but take care of every citizen. Strict action should be taken against anti-social elements,” he added.
Prof Shabbir Musthafa, K S Shivaram, B R Rangaswamy and others were present. (MR/KMR)
