Mysuru, February 28:- “Libraries give quality education for students and they are the treasure of knowledge,” said Registrar of University of Mysore, Prof Lingaraja Gandhi.
“We are happy to organise such unique programmes here. Today, we are observing National Science Day. We are remembering Nobel laureate Sir C V Raman on this occasion. A library is a heart and soul of education. The university library has books worth Rs 8 lakh. It gives ample opportunities for students to study. I also studied at Maharaja College which is affiliated to UoM. Library of UoM is updated with the time and is well equipped,” he added.
