Licences of 4 medical shops suspended

Mysuru, July 7:- Licences of 4 medical shops in the city have been suspended for not following the rules of the health department.

Medical shops were instructed to upload the details of people who purchase medicines for cold, cough and fever which are the primary symptoms of coronavirus. The health department said that it would help in identifying SARI and ILI cases. All the medical shops were instructed to follow the guidelines. They were provided with user ID and password. Officials had also guided the medical shop owners. During an operation, officials have found that some medical shops were not uploading details online. The officials have suspended the licences of 4 medical shops in the city for a prescribed period of time. (MR/KS).
