Mysuru, March 23:- After two coronavirus cases were reported in Mysuru, KSRTC bus services to other districts and states have also been affected. Local bus service also saw a thin attendance.
KDRTC city buses started plying all of a sudden on Monday morning. The bus services resumed keeping in mind the welfare of the public. Buses are plying in fewer numbers and the bus service might stop if the numbers come down drastically.
In response to the state government announcing total lockdown till March 31, bus services to other districts and states have also been suspended completely.
District transport officer Hemanth Kumar said that all bus services from the KSRTC Sub-urban Bus Terminal suspended and 2-3 buses might be allowed in case of emergency. He said that KSRTC employees will be offered medical help if they test positive for novel coronavirus. (MR/KS)
