Mysuru, July 6:- The number of coronavirus cases is increasing in Mysuru constantly. Several areas have been declared as ‘containment zones’ and have been sealed down. Poor people and daily wage labourers of the area are struggling even to get essentials. To help them, Corporator Gopi of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) Ward number 43 distributed ration kits to residents on Monday.
“As the area is sealed down, the residents are not allowed to go out and outsiders are not allowed to enter. Daily wage labourers and auto rickshaw drivers are living in this region. That’s why we are providing them ration kits containing rice, dal, vegetables and oil,” said Gopi. (MR/KS)
