Karnataka lockdown: Police lathi-charge violators

Mysuru, March 24:- Entire Karnataka is locked down as per the directions of the government to fight against coronavirus.

The heritage city of Mysuru too is locked down. But there were many who were indifferent in their approach. They rushed to nearby markets to buy vegetables.

Devaraja Market saw a mad rush of people. Police sent people back home from the market. Police lathi-charged autorickshaw and vehicle drivers for violating the prohibition.

The police requested the public to stay at home as asked by the government. (MR/KS)
