Lord Subramanyeshwara statue arrives in Mysuru

Titular king Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar performs ‘pushparchane’ to the idol of Lord Subramanyeshwara

Prime News, Karnataka, Religion, Mysuru, October 18:- The 18-foot statue of Lord Subramanyeshwara to be installed at Gattavadi village of Dodda Kavalanda hobli in Nanjangud has reached Mysuru on Monday (October 18).

Titular king Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar performed ‘pushparchane’ followed by special puja.

Two statues of the deity (36 feet and 18 feet) will be installed at Gattavadi. From Mysuru, the statue will be transported to Nanjangud Srikanteshwara Temple for another puja.

Nanjangud MLA B Harshavardhan, Mysuru City Corporation councillor M V Ramprasad, temple trustees and others were present. (MR/KS)
