Mysuru, May 26:- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who had a miraculous escape after his chopper crash-landed at a town in Latur on Thursday, was in Mysuru on Friday to take part in the ongoing programme at Ganapathi Sachidananda ashram.
Speaking to reporters, he said, “Our helicopter crash-landed at Latur on Thursday. The weather was not good when we left Nilanga town. The accident took place when the pilot was about to land the helicopter. Two pilots and four passengers who were on board are safe,” he said.
Earlier, airport inspector Shailendra and State Hotel Owners’ Association president Rajendra welcomed him at the airport.
He was accompanied by MP Pratap Simha, Mysuru City BJP president Dr B H Manjunath and party leaders.
