M S Praveen quits Bharatiya Janashakti Congress

Mysuru, May 23:- “Owing to personal reasons, I am quitting Bharatiya Janashakti Congress which gave me a ticket to contest the election,” said M S Praveen,  who contested unsuccessfully from Varuna constituency, at a press meet at Mysuru press club on Wednesday.

“There is no opportunity for any regional party in Karnataka apart from BJP, Congress and JD(S). I have understood that people will not accept us. It is impossible to grow in politics without money and caste power,” he opined.

“I am planning to will contest in village panchayat election from BJP, JD(S) or Congress in the coming days. Youths should identify themselves with some known parties instead of contesting independently,” he advised.

He thanked state president of the party Mahadeva Babu and Anupama Shenoy.
