Mahabhisheka offered to Nandi statue at Chamundi Hill

Mysuru, November 26:- Bettada Balaga Charitable Trust organised 13th year’s abhisheka to Nandi statue at Chamundi Hill on Sunday. The statue was offered abhisheka with sandal, vermilion, turmeric and 35 other herbs.

Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji of Suttur Mutt, Chidananda Seer of Hosamutt, Someshwaranatha Seer of Adichunchanagiri branch mutt and the head of the erstwhile royal family of Mysuru Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar offered the abhisheka.

Trustee of the charitable trust Bank Shivakumar said that the trust has been organising the event during Karthika month every year.
