Dr HC Mahadevappa slams MLA Vishwanath for his wry comments

Mysuru, May 22:- Former minister and senior Congress leader Dr H C Mahadevappa has hit out at Janata Dal (Secular) president AH Vishwanath who had said that former chief minister Siddaramaiah has failed as the chief of the Coalition Coordination Committee.

“Vishwanath is a senior leader. He should not give such statements. On the contrary, he should be helping the coalition government in the state. I don’t know what made Roshan Baig speak against Siddaramaiah, who is honest and able. Baig enjoyed power when Siddaramaiah was the chief minister. He is now speaking against Siddaramaiah with bad intentions. Only he can tell what is in his mind,” he said.

That Siddaramaiah has more enemies within his party is nothing new. There are already fissures in the party what with Baig slamming Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president Dinesh Gundu Rao and Siddaramaih for their flop show. Baig has also criticised Congress leader, K C Venugopal, who is also in-charge of Karnataka affairs. (MR/KS)
