Mysuru, May 26:- It is time for introspection after the loss in state Assembly elections. That as many as 16 ministers from the Siddaramaiah cabinet lost the elections is a clear indication of their waning popularity. We should never take our voters for granted no matter who you are. Many Siddaramaiah ministers took the voters for granted and paid the price.
Former District In-charge Minister H C Mahadevappa may be one such case. Dalitha Sangharsha Samithi district convenor Chunchanahalli Mallesh on Friday said it was unfortunate that Dr Mahadevappa lost the elections. He was speaking at a press meet held in T-Narasipur. ” It is unfortunate that Dr Mahadevappa lost but we have to accept the mandate of the people. His defeat is a big loss to Dalits,” he said. “Dr Mahadevappa should be made an MLC which is vacated by Dr G Parameshwar and be given a ministerial berth,” Mallesh urged.
“His service should be utilised during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections to ensure that Congress wins maximum seats in the state.”
DSS taluk convenor Yaraganahalli Suresh, organising secretary Vatal Nagaraju, Kempayyanahundi Raju, Kolattooru Prabhakar, Karohatti Shivamoorthy, Bannahalli Doreswamy, Yadadore Chandrappa, Thottavaadi Rajappa, Hemmige Shivanna, Thottavaadi Ravi, Mallayya, Maadesh, Chinnaswamy, Madigalli Mahadevaswamy and others were present.
