Maharani College hostel gets new warden

Mysuru, May 27:- Heeding to the demands of the students of the Maharani College for change of warden for their hostel, the administration has appointed a new warden with immediate effect.

The demand for change of warden came after a second year BSc student Sanchitha died of fever recently. Complaint is that the student died after drinking contaminated water. Close to 20 students were hospitalised after they fell ill. Holding warden Latha responsible for the problem, the student were hell bent on her ouster.  After studying the case carefully, administration removed Latha and appointed Mahadevaswamy as the warden of the hostel.
