Mysuru, March 14:- An awareness march was organised in the city to mark World Kidney Day on Thursday.
The event was organised by Nephro urology Department of KR Hospital. The rally was inaugurated at Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple by the Dean of Mysore Medical College and Research Institute (MMC&RI) Dr Nanjaraj.
He said that kidney problems are increasing these days and said those who have BP, diabetes have to undergo proper treatment to protect their kidneys. He instructed the public not to take medicines without a prescription from doctors.
The rally passed through major streets of the city and culminated at KR Hospital.
