Rally for peace and harmony in Mysuru tomorrow

Mysuru, September 26:- “A rally is being held for peace and harmony in the society tomorrow. ‘Shanthiyedege Namma Nadige’  is arriving in the city on Wednesday evening,” said women activist Dr Rameshwari Verma at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club here on Tuesday.

“Five teams of women are traveling the length and breadth of the nation. One team will be visiting Mysuru tomorrow. The team has members from Gujarat, Kashmir, Maharashtra, Delhi, Rajasthan, Chattisgarh and other states. They will stay at Shakthi Dhama. A human chain will be formed near Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple here on September 27 at 9 am. Posters will be distributed to the public. Rajya Raitha Sangha, Bahumukhi team of Maharaja College and progressive organisations will be present,” she added.

Nethravathi of Raitha Sangha, Sunitha of Organisation for Development of People (ODP), C P Kavitha of Odanadi organisation, Shalini and Abhiruchi Ganesh were present. (MR/KMR).
