Masks and sanitisers distributed to MCC pourakarmikas

Mysuru, March 21:- Masks and hand sanitisers have been proved to be effective in controlling the spreading of coronavirus. The pourakarmikas of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC), who work in the open, must use sanitisers and masks for their well-being. MLA of Krishnaraja Constituency SA Ramadass, in association with Let’s Do It Mysuru, distributed masks and hand sanitisers to pourakarmikas at MCC Wards 49, 50 and 51 on Saturday.

Precautionary measures to be taken by the pourakarmikas were explained to them. The pourakarmikas were asked to wash their hands using soap after returning home before having food. Members of the organisation asked pourakarmikas to use turmeric, pepper, ginger, chill, and garlic in their food as these ingredients increase immunity. The body temperature of pourakarmikas and the public were checked. An elderly woman, who was found to be having high temperature was advised to go to the hospital. The MLA said that two vehicles displaying the video of the importance of ‘Janta curfew’ will go around the city on Saturday. He asked the public to cooperate to make Janta curfew successful on Sunday.

The MLA also asked the public to contact Sudhindra on cell: 98450 43666, Balaji – 99880 04243, Vasanth Kumar – 96110 33110, Pradeep – 80731 24047, Sukeerthi – 99012 69702 if anyone requires any medicine during Janta curfew and they would provide the medicines at the doorsteps.
