Mysuru, February 3:- Yoga enthusiasts held 108 mass Surya Namaskar at the premises of Srikanteshwara Temple in Nanjangud on Sunday. The event was organised by Sri Patanjali Yoga Shikshana Samsthe.
More than 250 yoga exponents guided by Yoga Guru Prakash performed Surya Namaskar 108 times. The Surya Namaskar was held in 3 phases.
“We have to follow the scientific rituals introduced by our ancestors for building a better society,” said the executive officer of the temple, Shivakumaraiah.
“Human beings are forgetting the importance of breathing properly. Buddha started world meditation and controlled breathing for better health. We should be aware of our breathing,” said Prakash.
