Mysuru, July 30:- “Seer Sanehalli Panditaradhya Shivacharya is organising Matte Kalyana campaign in the state. The campaign will be held for two days at Kalamandir in the city on August 5 and 6,” said convener of the campaign Mahadevappa at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club recently.
“Vachana Bharata, painting and other events will be held throughout the day at Kiru Rangamandira of Kalamandir from 11 am in the presence of seer Dr Panditaradhya Shivacharya. He will hold a discussion with students at Kalamandir on August 6 at 10 am. Walk of harmony will be held at 3 pm across major streets of the city. Jamat Islami and Christian organisations will take part in the march. Dr Ramzan Darga will deliver a special address on Basava ideologies of 21st century at 6 pm. BT Lalitha Naik will also deliver special address,” he added.
District Kannada Sahitya Parishat (KaSaPa) president Dr YD Rajanna, former director of Rangayana H Janardhan and others were present. (MR/KMR)
