Mysuru, January 18:- Mayor Pushpalatha Jagannath performed groundbreaking ceremony (guddali puja) for interlock work for the footpath on Doddathayamma Road at Tonachikoppal in the city on Friday.
“Roads in all the Wards coming under Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) are being developed. The interlocking work begins today. The residents of the city should participate in cleanliness work to keep the city clean and secure the ‘cleanest city’ tag in India. Mysuru needs 1 lakh votes and the people have to download Swacchta app for it,” she said.
Corporator Gopi said that the interlock pavement is done at a cost of Rs 28.5 lakh.
