Mayor takes up the task of cleaning the city

Mysuru, June 13:- The protest of the pourakarmikas to fulfill their demands has entered the second day. The heritage city has turned out to be a garbage city. Due to the rain and piled up garbage, Devaraja market was smelling bad with stagnant water. Mayor M J Ravi Kumar himself took part in the cleaning process.

Mayor and the officials of MCC took up the cleaning task. Officials have done the waste management task. Members of Abhaya team and public extended their support to the cleaning work.

Pourakarmikas staged protest against the Mayor and officials for taking up the cleaning process. (KS, RV)
