Mayor Tasneem Bano inaugurates Vidwath 2020 at Vidyavardhaka FGC

Mysuru, January 31:- “Students definitely need a better platform to bring out the talent in them. Vidwath 2020 has set the stage for that,” said Mysuru Mayor Tasneem Bano.

She was speaking after inaugurating the two-day state level ‘Vidwath 2020’ event organised by the Department of Commerce and Managementat of Vidyavardhaka First Grade College here on Friday.

“In the era of globalisation, competition is there in every field. Students should have a goal in life. Achieve them with dedication, hard work and courage,” she said.

Rohith M Patil, managing director and CEO, Vidwath Solutions Pvt Ltd, Mysuru, who was the chief guest, called upon the students to gain from Vidwath 2020 and focus on enriching their skills

“The competitive corporate world nowadays wants youth with talent, more skills and knowledge. I wish that this event would be helpful for students to progress and work in that direction,” said the president of Vidyavardhaka Educational Institutions Gundappa Gowda.

Addressing the students, Er P Vishwanath, secretary, V V Sangha, Mysuru, said that they should develop skills beyond academics and participate in such fests to enrich their knowledge and gain experience.

More than 500 participants from various colleges are participating in the event.

Principal of the college Dr S Marigowda, T Nagaraju, chairman, CMC, VVFGC, Mysuru; Prof B M Manjula, HoD, Commerce and Management; Prof Siddaraju S, Prof Kumuda D R and others were present. (SH, NGB)
