Mysuru, May 16:- Mayor M J Ravi Kumar on Monday visited various layouts in the city following complaints that some of the wards were facing water crisis.
He visited layouts of ward number 53 and was upset by seeing the prevailing problems in Lidker colony, Krishnan colony, Rajeev Nagar 2nd stage and Hudko layout. He took a jibe at the officials and instructed them to solve the problems soon.
Speaking on the occasion, he said, “We are down to fifth spot in the list of cleanest cities. We have to work hard to get the number one spot again. To achieve this, we have to take up cleanliness drive in all the areas.”
Former Mayor Sandesh Swamy, MCC members Fairaz Khan, engineer Suresh Babu, Subrahmanya and others were present. (MR/BM).
