MCC pourakarmikas wearing safety gears disinfect quarantined units

Mysuru, April 7:- High alert has been sounded in Mysuru district as novel coronavirus cases are on the rise every day. A keen eye is also kept on the quarantined people.

Private hotels have been converted into health units to accommodate quarantined patients. Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) pourakarmikas on Tuesday attended work wearing safety gears provided to them and disinfected the quarantine units.

MCC has taken measures to collect wastes from quarantined homes. Two pourakarmikas with safety gear have been deployed to each ward to collect wastes and spray disinfectants. (KS, NGB)
