The swanky charity fundraiser saw several competitions held for the elite group of ladies from the city, as well as educational help for needy student.
Celebrating International Women’s Day, MHLC 109, a local chapter of Ladies Circle India had organised their signature fundraiser event for elite ladies called ‘Bingo Morning’, a tambola event for charity.
The event was held on March 1 at Hotel Quorum and more than 300 women turned up for the event.
During the event, two cheques of Rs 25,000 and Rs.10,000 were donated to disadvantaged students for their educational needs. An engineering student and a disabled child were selected and given the cheques respectively, which covered their yearly fees.
Three rounds of Tambola (housie housie) catering fashion, beauty & fitness and jewellery were played with prizes including two diamond pendants, silver jewellery, funky jewellery, sarees, dress materials, kurtis, gym memberships, beauty products and services at salons, dinner and movie vouchers and lot more given out in each round.
Many more prizes for the best dressed in theme, senior citizens in the lot, recognizing lawyers and doctors in the crowd, ladies with Mysore silk sarees and many more were given out to make the ladies feel special.
Goodie bags which included food packets, ghee, cookies, pens and discount vouchers for their daily shopping were handed over to each participant so that they could cherish the event with some fond memories!
