Mysuru, August 23:- Mysuru Industries Association (MIA) on Thursday urged the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to revive and protect the industries including the automobile industry which is facing crisis.
MIA secretary Suresh Kumar Jain who met the Finance Minister at the Government Guest House on Thursday, said the automobile industry is facing a serious crisis and the production of automobiles has drastically come down.
He said that the small industries have been struggling to repay their loans and added that it may lead to loss of 10 lakh jobs. Jain appealed to the minister to withdraw the interest on delay in TDS submission and to cancel registration policy on GST.
Minister Nirmala Sitharaman assured to look into the grievances of the industrialists and take positive action. (GK, NGB)
