Microorganisms keep the soil fertile: Rajashekhar Revanasiddappa

Mysuru, February 15:- “There will be richness in the soil only if microorganisms live in the earth,” said agriculture expert Rajashekhar Revanasiddappa Nimbaragi of Indi taluk on Friday.

He was speaking after inaugurating a seminar by Prasara Bharati, Akashvani (All India Radio) at CIIL Hall, Manasagangothri here.

“I had passed the examination with 13th rank in 1974. My challenge was to develop our farms,” he said. He spoke about the path of his farming life. He asked farmers to use organic manure instead of chemical fertilisers.

Renuka Rajashekhar Nimbaragi, Dr Chandregowda, assistant director of Akashvani H Srinivas, director Sunil Bhatia, Vasanth Keshava Kaje and others were present. (MR/GK).
