“This amusement park was constructed in the city 20 years ago. I appreciate this amusement park for entertaining the people. Construction of this snow park will help the growth of tourism. Several complaints about heritage structures being harmed have been brought to my notice. I have already discussed with the deputy commissioner. We have to protect our culture and heritage. Chamundi Hills will be developed at a cost of Rs 50 crore from the central government. We had a plan to construct Disneyland at KR Sagar but it has received a lot of opposition. Now the government has decided to take up all the development works except the statue of Goddess Cauvery,” the minister said. (MR/KS)
