Mysuru, October 10:- Muzrai Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary on Saturday (October 10) said the coronavirus guidelines that are in force now will continue and there won’t be any relaxation during Mysuru Dasara festival as well.
Speaking to reporters here, he said, “Restrictions at temples during Fridays and weekends will stay as the number of devotees is more during these days. We will be shortly discussing guidelines for Dasara festival.”
Reacting to Janata Dal (Secular) MLA Sa Ra Mahesh’s allegation that there was corruption in up-gradation of Karnataka Bhavan in Tirupati, the minister said, “Devotees from Karnataka were facing a lot of problems in Tirupati. This was, in fact, discussed in the state Assembly and the Council. We have taken up civil works worth Rs 200 crore there. The contract has been given to Andhra-based company due to unavoidable reasons. If Mahesh has any doubt, he can come for an open discussion instead of airing unnecessary charges.” (MR/KS)
