Minorities should not support JD(S) which backs BJP: CM

Mysuru, December 1:- “We should remember that Karnataka belongs to everyone. How can ‘Sab ka saath’ be achieved without minorities?,” asked the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at the convention of the minorities here in the city on Thursday.

“BJP leaders have no respect for the constitution. My name is Siddaramaiah. Siddarameshwara is our family God. I am also a Hindu. Has the BJP taken Hindus on a lease? JD(S) calls itself secular, but they keep making political adjustments with the BJP. Minorities should never support JD(S) and BJP. I don’t oppose Muslims. I love Muslims as much as I do Hindus. BJP leaders Ananth Kumar and Shobha Karandlaje use unparliamentary words. They are unfit to be what they are. Though I am from a village, I won’t use such words,” he said.

KPCC President Dr G Parameshwar, minister Tanveer Sait, Dinesh Gundu Rao and others were present. (MR/KS).
