MLA GT Devegowda turns 70; offers puja to Goddess Chamundeshwari

Mysuru, November 25:- MLA of Chamundeshwari Constituency, GT Devegowda who has stayed away from all the political activities of the state Assembly by-elections, offered special puja to Goddess Chamundeshwari atop Chamundi Hill and Sathyanarayana puja at his residence on Monday to overcome political uncertainties.

On turning 70 today (Nov 25), GT Devegowda along with his wife Lalitha Devegowda and son Harish Gowda offered special puja to the Goddess Chamundeshwari and sought blessings. They also visited the Jwalamukhi Tripurasundari Temple at Uttanahalli and offered prayers. He also offered Sathyanarayana puja at his residence in the morning.

All the political parties have been seeking the support of GT Devegowda, but he has stayed away from the election campaigns and maintained silence.

The former minister is reportedly on a temple run throughout the day. (KS, NGB)
