Mysuru, June 28:- Periyapattana MLA K Mahadev visited Periyapattana Government Hospital and held inspection on Tuesday.
He visited the hospital after receiving several complaints regarding the functioning of the hospital.
People alleged that the doctors don’t come to the hospital on time and the conditions are pathetic. They said that the hospital staff behave arrogantly with the patients.
The MLA asked the hospital staff to keep the hospital clean and tidy. He inspected dialysis wing, ECG and X-ray unit, operation theatre, pharmacy, wards and staff office and collected information. He promised that the hospital would be made a 100-bed hospital soon.
Mymul director P M Prasanna, former director Nagegowda, Dr Anil Kumar, Dr Devaki, Dr Sadashiva, Dr Prakash Nayak and others were present. (MR/KS).
