MLA Mahesh favours lockdown in Mysuru again

Mysuru, July 15:- Janata Dal (Secular) MLA from K R Nagar, Sa Ra Mahesh has written to District in-charge Minister S T Somashekar and Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa to lockdown Mysuru district as the number of coronavirus cases is rapidly increasing.

“Covid-19 cases are going out of control and 1091 cases have been registered in Mysuru district so far while 41 people have lost their lives. Around 563 cases were registered in one week and 29 people have lost their lives. This shows how dangerous it is becoming in Mysuru. The cases are increasing in rural areas as well. Lockdown has been implemented in many districts of Karnataka. Mysuru district should also be locked down for some days,” he said. (MR/KS)
