Mysuru, July 16:- Chamaraja Constituency Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA L Nagendra on Sunday conducted a ‘padayatra’ in Ward 25 coming under Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) and heard the grievances of the residents.
Nagendra along with few officials conducted a ‘padayatra’ at Vijayanagar Sangam Circle and surrounding areas and heard the grievances of the residents.
During his visit, he found that most of the pedestrian pavements in the locality were encroached and were causing inconvenience to the pedestrians.
The legislator directed the MCC officials to immediately clear the footpaths and make way for the pedestrians to walk freely on the footpath.
He also found that the gymnasium equipments and accessories installed inside a park were in a ‘bad’ state. Nagendra assured to replace the old equipments with a new one after discussing with the concerned officials. He also promised to develop the graveyard next to a temple in the area. -KK
